Okay Work-Life, Can Get Busy for Analysts
Pros: As a Data Analyst here, I found the core hours pretty reasonable, usually 9-5. There's good holiday allowance, which helps with taking proper breaks. The team is supportive too.
Cons: Sometimes, especially around project deadlines in the financial services industry, you'll work longer hours. It's mostly onsite work in the Aberdeen office, so not much WFH flexibility. Can be tough to plan things outside of work during those periods.
Advice to Management: Try to offer more flexibility, maybe a hybrid model for some roles. Also, better resource planning for peak times would ease the pressure on teams.

Job Security is a Bit of a Rollercoaster
Pros: I've worked here as a Marketing Specialist for over two years, and the initial onboarding was pretty smooth. We do get to work on some interesting data analytics projects, which is good for gaining experience. The team camaraderie in the Boston office is also a decent perk.
Cons: Job security here is a real concern though. There's a lot of churn, especially if market research projects get cut unexpectedly. It feels like reorgs happen every few months, which always makes you wonder about your role.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer communication regarding company direction and project longevity. This would really help with employee morale and retention.

Solid Job Security for Analysts, But Growth Stalled
Pros: The job security as a Market Research Analyst is a big plus. We always had a consistent project flow, especially in B2B research. It felt like a very stable corporate environment for analytics roles, which is good in our industry.
Cons: Career growth here is tough. There aren't many opportunities to move up, even with good performance. I didn't see much internal advancement, especially compared to other market intelligence firms. The pay raises were also pretty minimal.
Advice to Management: Management needs to focus more on creating clear career paths and offering more training for internal progression. It would really help retain talent in those core data analysis and market intelligence roles.
