Decent for a field role, but can be tough.

Pros: As a Field Service Technician, you get a good amount of autonomy during your day. When calls are slow, there's decent flexibility to manage your time. The company tries to respect personal time in the HVAC industry when they can.
Cons: Onsite work can be unpredictable with emergency repairs. I've had weeks hitting 50+ hours easily, which really cuts into personal time. Sometimes the scheduling for onsite jobs feels a bit disorganized, leading to longer days.
Advice to Management: Try to improve the scheduling system for Field Service Technicians. Better resource planning could help reduce those extremely long weeks and improve overall work-life balance. Show more
