Hybrid Work's Okay, But Not Always Flexible
Pros: They do offer a hybrid model, so you're not always in the Kuala Lumpur office. For some internal projects, remote work options were decent, which helped with personal appointments. It's a nice perk for a mid-sized consultancy.
Cons: But for client-facing roles like a Junior Consultant, you're often tied to onsite requirements. Client deadlines meant little wiggle room for actual work flexibility. I often felt like the 'hybrid' was mostly 'onsite' when it mattered.
Advice to Management: Try to empower project leads to offer more genuine flexibility, even for client projects. Don't just advertise hybrid if it's rarely achievable. Show more
