Pros: There are chances to learn new tech in our business process automation stack. I've seen some folks move up from junior to mid-level roles, especially if they are vocal about it. The hybrid model allows some flexibility for focused work.
Cons: Career paths aren't always super clear for technical roles; you mostly have to figure it out yourself. There's not much structured mentorship for growth, which can make things tough. Sometimes it feels like you're stuck in your current project, even if you want to switch.
Advice to Management: Define clearer career progression paths for individual contributors, especially in technical roles. Implement a stronger mentorship program to support employee development.

Pros: The hybrid model is a decent perk here at Esker. I appreciate being able to work from home a couple of days a week, especially as a Solutions Consultant. This helps a lot with my commute and juggling personal stuff. WFH is a solid option for many roles in this business process automation software company.
Cons: True work flexibility isn't always consistent. Sometimes, you're expected in the Middletown, DE office even on your WFH days without much warning. It can be tough to plan around that, especially for urgent personal appointments. It's definitely not a fully remote setup, so don't expect that.
Advice to Management: Be clearer about hybrid expectations and truly empower teams to manage their schedules. More work from home days would really help some of us.
