SYSTEMAIR SDN BHD Offers Solid Job Security
Pros: If you're looking for stability, this established corporate is a pretty safe bet. As a Production Engineer here, I always felt secure in my role, even during tougher economic times. The demand for HVAC systems keeps things steady in industrial manufacturing.
Cons: However, that stability can mean slower career growth opportunities. Pay increases are pretty average, and there's not much room for rapid advancement. For new hires, especially in the Kuala Lumpur office, don't expect a lot of work flexibility; it's very much an onsite environment.
Advice to Management: Management should look at clearer pathways for career advancement and consider more competitive salary adjustments to retain talent. A bit more work flexibility would also help attract a younger workforce.

Not much work flexibility for production roles
Pros: The setup for onsite work is decent, especially if you're in operations. You get consistent hours which is good for planning. The Kuala Lumpur office is well-equipped.
Cons: There are practically no hybrid options for most roles like mine. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I was pretty much tied to the production line. Forget about working from home much, it's strictly an onsite job.
Advice to Management: Consider introducing more flexible work options, even if it's just one remote day a week for non-production roles. It would really help with employee morale.

Okay Pay, Benefits Are Decent Enough
Pros: As a Manufacturing Engineer here, the base salary is pretty standard for the HVAC industry in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The medical benefits are actually quite good, covering my family which is a big plus. It's a stable mid-sized corporate environment.
Cons: Annual bonuses are pretty disappointing; they don't really motivate much. Getting a decent pay raise is tough, it feels like they don't keep up with inflation at all. Don't expect huge financial growth here.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at the salary scales and bonus structure. We need pay raises that actually reflect market rates and the cost of living in Malaysia. Better incentives would boost morale a lot.
