Pros: I've learned a lot about strategic consulting and project management as a Junior Consultant. The hybrid model in the Dallas, TX office offers some good flexibility, which I appreciate. My direct manager was generally solid and gave decent support.
Cons: Upper leadership can feel pretty disconnected from the daily grind. There's not much clear vision, and big decisions often seem reactive instead of proactive. It's tough when they don't seem to truly understand the day-to-day for client engagement teams.
Advice to Management: Engage more with the teams on the ground. Clearer communication about company direction and strategy would help everyone feel more aligned. It would be good to see leadership invest more in developing internal talent and career paths for consulting roles.
