Decent flexibility for sales roles here
It's been an okay run at SMDC. As a Sales Executive, I've seen some improvements in work flexibility lately, but it's still a mixed bag, especially with client demands in real estate.
I like that there's a pretty good hybrid setup available. For real estate sales, it's nice to manage some admin tasks remotely from Metro Manila. We can schedule client meetings and property viewings pretty much on our own terms, which helps a lot.
But it's not always super flexible. You still need to hit weekly office hours for team meetings and reporting in the local office. Plus, client demands mean weekend work is often unavoidable, which can cut into your personal time. It's a corporate environment, so there are expectations.
Maybe look into more clear guidelines for hybrid work for Sales Executives. It would help manage expectations better. Also, acknowledge the weekend work that's inherent in real estate development.
