Hybrid model is a decent perk
Pros: The hybrid work model is a solid plus. You usually get 2-3 WFH days, which is great for avoiding Manila traffic. This flexibility really helps with personal appointments, especially for those in digital retail roles.
Cons: Sometimes, team meetings require everyone in the Manila office, even on WFH days. It can be tough to adjust when plans change last minute. The workload for an e-commerce startup can sometimes override the intended work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to the hybrid schedule more consistently. Last-minute changes to WFH days can be really disruptive.

Okay flexibility for a fast-paced e-commerce startup
Pros: As a Product Manager, I've had decent work flexibility here. The option for hybrid work at this e-commerce startup is a solid plus, letting me manage my schedule better. It's good for juggling personal stuff.
Cons: Still, it's a startup, so you're often online past usual hours. Getting full remote work approved can be tough for some roles, even if you're remote from Philippines. Work-life balance here is a bit tricky sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to formalize the flexible work policies more. Make the path to full remote options clearer for your teams.

Okay Flexibility for a Fast-Paced E-commerce Startup
Pros: It's pretty good for an e-commerce startup. We get a hybrid work model, which is a huge plus. Splitting time between home and the Manila office really helps with my commute.
Cons: Sometimes the 'flexible' part feels a bit forced, especially for Marketing Specialist roles during big campaigns. There's an expectation to be online past usual hours. It's tough to truly log off.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries around 'off-hours' for teams, especially during peak sales. It would really help with burnout for folks in roles like mine.
