The HR Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and executing the human resources strategy across the APAC region. This role involves providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational support to the HR teams across multiple countries in APAC. The HR Director will work closely with senior management and business leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive organizational growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and regional growth plans.
· Provide guidance and expertise to local HR teams, ensuring consistency in HR policies, practices, and compliance across the APAC region.
· Collaborate with global HR leadership to ensure global and regional HR strategies are integrated effectively.
2. Talent Management:
· Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent.
· Oversee talent review and succession planning processes to identify and nurture high-potential employees.
· Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and career development.
3. Organizational Development:
· Lead initiatives related to organizational design, restructuring, and change management to support business growth and efficiency.
· Implement performance management systems to ensure clear goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
4. Employee Relations:
· Provide leadership in resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and local labor laws.
· Foster a positive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
· Collaborate with regional and global compensation teams to develop competitive compensation and benefits programs.
· Ensure adherence to local market practices and legal requirements in compensation and benefits offerings.
6. HR Analytics and Reporting:
· Utilize HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
· Monitor key HR metrics related to turnover, retention, engagement, and workforce planning.
7. Compliance:
· Stay updated on employment laws and regulations across APAC countries to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant.
· Work with legal teams to manage labor law compliance, employment contracts, and related matters.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
· Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in HR leadership roles, with significant exposure to the APAC region.
· Strong understanding of APAC labor laws and regulations.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
· Demonstrated experience in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and analytics tools.
· Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and global organization.
· Italian language would be a plus
