KEY DUTIES

The objective of this role is :

• Supervise and /or execute all tasks related to maintaining, calibrating, repairing and inspecting building utilities.
• Oversee all assignments related to remodelling, renovation, and maintenance of the facility.
• Supervise maintenance work for workplace safety and health compliance.
• Oversee the safe operation of the boilers and associated equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates and provides instructions to external vendors engaged in preventive / corrective programs executed in the building utilities.
• Supervise daily routine facility jobs and repair work orders as assigned.
• Obtain and finalize permits needed for vendors to carry out their work.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdown and carry out basic repairs.
• Maintain all facilities equipment in optimum condition. Ensure all documentation related to maintenance activities are completed accurately and processed to full completion.
• Lead in Root Cause Analysis for equipment/facility breakdowns.
• Leads and develop Improvement projects. Continuously seek opportunities to improve utility equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support Integrated Management Systems development and continuous improvement. Review maintenance records to ensure adherence to applicable standards such as (e.g. ISO 9000, ISO 14,000, OHSAS 18,000 ,ISO 22000 and KORE
• Manage Plant Engineering tools, equipment, accessories and utility spare part Stores.
• Execute basic preventative maintenance on the steam boiler unit and automated warehouse equipment, conducts routine rounds on Utilities.
• Upkeep the building GMP and ensure maintain the standard.
• Implement the energy reduction programs to reduce the cost on utilities.

QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of safety procedures applicable to working with high and low voltage electrical systems with electrical theory and its application.
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for various mechanical systems including HVAC System, Fire Protection System, plumbing, heating, drainage, building and others
• Knowledge of the engineering principles and practices of the facilities engineering service.
• Basic knowledge of the standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to the construction, and maintenance of structures and facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic system commonly found in public facilities, such as indoor and outdoor lighting systems and timing devices.
• Skill in planning, designing, organizing, and executing electrical & Mechanical upgrade projects mandated by changing codes, regulations and safety requirements.
• Preferable at least 3 years’ experience. Food Industry / manufacturing company / Boiler experience would be advantageous.

The purpose of this role is to develop safe, effective and efficient tank repair, modification and construction methods whilst ensuring reliable availability storage tanks across all areas of the refinery.

• Recommend tank repair, modification and construction methods in line with applicable statutory, industry and company requirements to maintain long-term tank integrity and function. Base case for refinery bulk storage assets is 20yr fit-for-service following out-of-service inspection.
• Develop Management of Change (MOC) proposals and supporting documentation for non-routine tank repair methodologies and proposed tank design modifications.
• Collaborate with the refinery integrity team, to forecast and optimise a risk-based tankage inspection and outage program on a 12 monthly and 10 year rolling schedule.

1. Technical / Calibration Services

• Responsible for the calibration or repair of equipment in 1 to 2 disciplines (Dimensional, Mechanical, Electrical or Temperature).

• Develops and programs integrated software solutions, especially in support of the development, deployment and life cycle of machine learning models.
• Trains and validates models using appropriate evaluation metrics and techniques.
• Optimizes and tunes hyperparameters to improve model performance and generalization.
• Deploys machine learning models to production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Monitors and maintains deployed models, making necessary updates to adapt to changing data or requirements.
• Spearheads the design of ML systems, experiments with ML algorithms, and regularly trains systems for maximum efficiency.
• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains ML pipelines that efficiently produce scalable models.
• Cooperates with CI/CD teams to ensure seamless deployment of models to production.
• Partners with research and engineering teams to enhance automated model training techniques.
• Applies machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to business or research problems.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, machine learning, algorithms, statistical methods, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
