Role Overview:
As a Construction Project Director, you will be a pivotal figure in their organisation, responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex and innovative construction projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project team in setting clear project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to all project stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and vendor management.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety standards throughout the project life cycle.
Foster innovation and continuous improvement, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
Extensive experience in leadership and team management, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, coupled with the ability to think strategically.
Strong financial acumen and proficiency in project budgeting and cost management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
