Decent pay, but career growth is slow here
Pros: You get solid experience working with large-scale electronics manufacturing and assembly lines. The pay for a Manufacturing Engineer is pretty decent compared to some other local places. Benefits are standard, nothing special, but not bad either.
Cons: Career growth is a real challenge here. There isn't a clear path for advancement or much mentorship for junior engineers. Promotions are super slow, and sometimes it feels like you're stuck in the same role without opportunities to move up or across departments.
Advice to Management: Management needs to invest more in career development programs and mentorship for engineering staff. Create clearer promotion tracks for roles like Manufacturing Engineer to retain talent.

Decent place, but career growth is slow
Pros: It's a solid, established company in the electronics manufacturing sector. You've got pretty good job security here, which is a plus for manufacturing roles.
Cons: Career paths for a Production Supervisor aren't always clear. It feels like there's not much room to move up unless someone leaves the company. Promotions can be really slow, especially at the Senai, Johor plant.
Advice to Management: Management should create clearer paths for advancement, especially for experienced manufacturing roles. More transparency on growth opportunities would help a lot.

Leadership's Got Room to Grow Here
Pros: My direct manager was usually pretty supportive, which helped a lot with day-to-day tasks on the assembly line. The company's a major player in the electronics manufacturing industry, so job security feels pretty solid for onsite roles.
Cons: Upper management sometimes feels disconnected from the ground level. Decisions often come down without much input from Production Supervisors, especially concerning manufacturing processes. It can make things tougher than they need to be in our Johor Bahru plants.
Advice to Management: Listen more to the teams on the manufacturing floor. Their insights are key to making better, more effective decisions. Also, consider investing in better leadership training for mid-level managers within this large corporate structure.
