Culture's okay, but it's a corporate vibe
Pros: You get to work with some cool heavy equipment and construction machinery. The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is generally supportive. We sometimes have team lunches, which is nice.
Cons: It can feel a bit rigid. New ideas don't always get traction easily. There's not much cross-departmental interaction for us Service Technicians.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more collaboration between departments. Listen to feedback from the ground staff more often.

Not much flexibility for onsite roles
Pros: As a Sales Executive, I've had decent autonomy managing client visits. You can plan your schedule when you're out in the field in the heavy equipment industry. That's a plus for hitting sales targets.
Cons: WFH isn't really an option here. Most of us are expected to be onsite daily, even for administrative tasks. It's tough for work-life balance when you can't even get a hybrid option.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more hybrid options for roles that don't absolutely require 100% onsite presence. It would really help with employee morale and retention.

Leadership has its moments, good and bad.
Pros: Some senior folks in the Kuala Lumpur office really know their stuff about heavy equipment. You can learn a lot from them in terms of product knowledge and sales tactics. The international corporate structure means good resources are often available if you push for them.
Cons: But honestly, consistent leadership is a struggle. There's often a lack of clear direction for Sales Executive roles, which can be frustrating. Decisions feel slow and sometimes contradictory, making it tough to hit targets in the competitive construction machinery industry.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing a consistent vision and clearer communication channels from top management down. Empower team leaders to make faster, more confident decisions without constant approval delays.
