Location: Terberg Zenith Singapore (With travel to Malaysia)
Hours of Work: 40hrs per week (Mon-Fri with ad hoc emergency OOH work as required)

Salary: S$ 6,000 - $6,500 per month

Job Purpose:
Your primary purpose is to strategically lead and oversee all aspects of the human resources function within the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the Company's values and objectives. By formulating and implementing effective HR policies, procedures, and initiatives, you will ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
Your responsibilities will encompass recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws.
Through proactive engagement with employees at all levels, you will foster a collaborative and supportive environment, promoting the well-being and professional growth of individuals. Your role will contribute significantly to the organisation's success by aligning human resources strategies with business goals and fostering an environment where employees thrive, enabling the company to achieve its mission and objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning
· Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the Company's business goals.
· Identify and address HR issues to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
Recruitment
· Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
· To carry out and report on psychometric assessments where appropriate.
· To provide advice to managers regarding the recruitment process.
Employee Relations
· To provide support and advice to managers regarding ER cases.
· To manage redeployments and restructuring activities.
· To provide general advice to managers regarding employee relations issues.
· Management of any HR legislative cases
Performance & Absence Management
· Develop and implement performance management systems to drive employee development and high performance.
· Long term sickness case management
· Managing short term, persistent absence
· Managing requests or needs for medical adjustments.
· Providing advice to managers regarding matters relating to absence, ill health and requests for workplace adjustments.
· Managing family leave
Training and Development
· Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
· Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation.
· Manage training budget
· To coach and mentor new and developing line managers with people management and implementing Company policy and procedure
· Provide effective line management support to direct reports ensuring that they deliver business objectives and have appropriate personal development opportunities.
Policy & Procedure
· To provide advice to managers and employees regarding all areas of HR policy and procedure.
· To ensure that policies and procedures are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
· Communicate and ensure compliance with legislative changes, updates and industry best practice.
HR Compliance
· Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with any changes.
· Manage documentation and records related to employee matters in accordance with legal requirements
Compensation and Benefits
· Design and administer competitive and attractive compensation and benefits packages.
· Regularly review and benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness in the market.
HR Metrics and Reporting
· Develop and maintain HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
· Prepare regular reports for senior management on HR-related activities.

· In-depth knowledge of Singaporean & Malaysian labour laws and regulations

Experience
· Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR
· Proven experience of implementing one or more HR systems
· Experience of working within a manufacturing or service environment
· Experience of working within an international group
· Demonstrable absence management experience
· Extensive employee relations experience, including note taking and formal document
drafting
· Extensive recruitment experience
· Experience of managing foreign national employees and work passes
Education / Qualifications
· CIPD Qualified (Chartered Member) / IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP)/ IHRP Senior Professional (IHRP-SP) or equivalent qualification
· Degree level education or equivalent
· Psychometric assessment qualification
