Hybrid model is okay, but could be better
Pros: They do offer a hybrid model, which is nice for a mid-sized tech company. You get a couple of WFH days a week, which really helps with personal appointments. It's a solid perk in the tech industry.
Cons: The 'flexible hours' aren't really flexible for engineering roles. You're expected to be online during core hours, which makes true work flexibility tough. It's hard to make the WFH days count when you're still tied to the office schedule.
Advice to Management: Consider truly embracing flexibility beyond just a hybrid schedule. Let teams decide what works best for their deliverables, not just rigid core hours.

Leadership can be a mixed bag here.
Pros: My direct engineering manager was pretty solid. They're good at guiding new hires, especially for junior software engineer roles. I've learned a lot from them in this tech startup.
Cons: Senior leadership, though, feels disconnected. There's often a lack of clear vision, which makes planning tough for product development. It's hard to trust decisions when they change so frequently.
Advice to Management: I'd say work on better communication from the top down. Give teams a clearer roadmap and stick to it more often. It'd help everyone feel more secure.
