WFH is great, but work can be intense
Pros: I really appreciated the flexibility of working remote from home. It's a lifesaver for personal appointments and managing my day. You get decent PTO, which is good for recharging after busy periods.
Cons: As a Customer Success Specialist, the client requests never really stop, even after hours. Sometimes the expectations for quick responses make it tough to truly disconnect. It often feels like you're always on, impacting my personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for client communication after working hours. Encourage teams to truly disconnect more from their WFH environment. Focus on realistic caseloads.

Culture Has Shifted, Not Always for Better
Pros: I liked my engineering team a lot. Everyone was collaborative, especially early on. The mission behind providing care services is truly good, which helped keep morale up sometimes. We had a pretty solid hybrid work setup in the Austin office.
Cons: The company culture feels less like a startup and more corporate now. There's a lot of micromanagement, which is tough as a Software Engineer. Communication often misses the mark from leadership, making it hard to feel connected to big decisions. It's a noticeable change from how it used to be.
Advice to Management: Try to remember the startup roots and empower teams more. Open communication from the top down would help a lot with overall morale and understanding company direction.
