Pros: For an AI startup, the tech stack is solid. I learned a lot working on core natural language processing features. The San Francisco office environment is pretty collaborative, and I've met some smart people.
Cons: Leadership sometimes feels disconnected from the engineering teams. There's not much clear direction for product development, which can be frustrating as a Senior Software Engineer. Communication from the top down is often vague, creating unnecessary re-work.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be more transparent and provide clearer roadmaps. Listen to your Senior Software Engineers on the ground - they know what's happening. Improve communication across departments.
