Starting Pay Decent, Benefits Need Work
Pros: As a junior consultant in the Boston office, my starting salary was pretty competitive. They do offer health insurance, which is a must-have for entry-level consulting roles. It's a good place to start your career in management consulting.
Cons: The pay growth isn't great after your first year; raises are pretty small. The benefits package is basic; there's no 401k match, which feels like a miss for a growing firm. The bonus structure is also really opaque.
Advice to Management: Seriously look into increasing salary bands for experienced consultants and add more robust benefits, especially retirement options. It would help retain talent.
