Pros: The base salary for Software Engineer roles here is decent, especially for entry to mid-level positions. You can get by comfortably in the Austin, TX area. They do offer a pretty standard 401k match, which is solid.
Cons: Beyond the base, the bonus structure isn't very competitive for the tech industry. I found the health benefits package to be pretty basic, and the PTO accrual felt slow. It's tough to feel fully compensated sometimes.
Advice to Management: Really look at the total compensation package for technical roles. Better health benefits and a more competitive bonus structure would help retain talent in this hot market.

Pros: I liked the stability of working for a big corporate company like PCI. The benefits package is pretty solid, especially for financial services roles. They have a decent hybrid work model in the Atlanta office, which is nice.
Cons: It's tough to feel connected sometimes; the company culture can feel really fragmented. Career growth for Operations Specialist roles isn't always clear, and it often feels like there's a lot of red tape. Decisions take forever.
Advice to Management: Try to foster a more cohesive company culture across different departments. Improve communication channels for career progression, especially for roles like Operations Specialist in payment processing.
