Pros: It's a pretty stable job if you're looking for consistent work. As an Inside Sales Representative, I found the day-to-day tasks predictable. The team in the Orange County office was mostly decent.
Cons: Career growth is seriously lacking here for sales roles. There aren't many opportunities to move up, even if you hit your targets in plastics distribution. It felt like I was stuck with no clear path forward.
Advice to Management: You really need to invest in clear career paths for your employees. Define how people can advance, especially for dedicated roles in sales and operations. Without it, people leave for better opportunities.
