Okay pay, but demanding work in transport
Pros: The base salary for a Bus Captain in Singapore is decent; it's a steady paycheck. You get solid job security in a big corporate setting, which is a big plus in the transportation industry.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't great, especially for all the demanding driving shifts we put in. Health benefits are just okay; I wish they'd improve the dental coverage.
Advice to Management: Please re-evaluate the bonus scheme for Bus Captains. Recognizing the long route schedules and hours with better incentives would really boost morale.

Leadership can be tough for Singapore Bus Captains
Pros: The job itself as a Bus Captain in Singapore is stable. You get decent pay for the public transport industry, and the benefits are pretty standard.
Cons: Leadership often feels disconnected from frontline staff like Bus Captains. They make decisions without much input, which can impact our daily routes and schedules. There's not much transparency when changes happen.
Advice to Management: Listen more to your frontline Bus Captains. Our feedback on routes and operations is important for service quality. More transparent communication about changes would also help morale.
