Pros: Good training for new Recruitment Consultants. They really teach you the ropes of the Singapore job market and recruitment industry. My direct manager was generally supportive. I always felt heard when I had questions about client accounts. The WFH setup is pretty solid now.
Cons: Leadership above the direct manager level felt a bit distant. Big decisions often came down without much explanation to the recruitment division. There wasn't a super clear path for career growth, which was tough for a mid-career Recruitment Consultant. Communication from the top sometimes lagged, especially for us working hybrid in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Focus on more consistent communication from senior leadership. Provide clearer career development paths for Recruitment Consultants, especially for those looking to advance beyond a basic consultant role.
