Leadership is Decent, Can Improve for Hospitality
Pros: The team I worked with as an Events Coordinator was really solid and supportive. We had good camaraderie, essential for the demanding hospitality industry. Some middle managers genuinely care about our well-being during onsite shifts.
Cons: Upper management often feels a bit disconnected from day-to-day operations. There's a lack of clear strategic direction sometimes, especially in this large corporate hotel group. It feels like they could communicate better with frontline staff about big decisions.
Advice to Management: Upper leadership needs to engage more directly with operational teams. Listen to feedback from departments like Events to truly understand our daily challenges and improve communication.

Okay Place, Some Good Folks
Pros: You'll meet some really solid people working here. As a Front Desk Agent, I felt like my immediate team had my back, which is big in the hospitality industry. The onsite training was decent too, you learn a lot quickly.
Cons: The company culture is pretty mixed. There's high turnover, which makes things feel unstable sometimes. Management often seems disconnected from what's happening on the ground for front-line staff.
Advice to Management: Really listen to your employees, especially the ones directly serving guests. Address the high turnover rate by focusing on better retention strategies and fostering a more supportive company culture. It would make a huge difference.
