Pros: Sometimes you can work from home a day or two a week, especially if your manager is cool with it. This was good for getting deep work done without office distractions. It helped a lot when I had tight deadlines as an Investment Analyst, especially in the busy financial services industry.
Cons: The remote work policy isn't really consistent across departments. It felt like some teams were always expected to be onsite in the Singapore office, making true hybrid work tough. Getting approval for WFH days could be a hassle, which really limited actual work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Standardize the remote work and hybrid policies across all departments in the Singapore office. This would make things fairer and improve overall employee satisfaction, especially for those in client-facing or data-intensive roles like an Investment Analyst.

Pros: You learn a lot if you're fresh out of school. Good initial training for a junior Financial Analyst in the financial services industry. Solid groundwork for basic financial analysis.
Cons: Moving up is really tough here. Promotions are rare, even with strong performance. It's hard to see a clear path past an associate level in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for advancement. Recognize and reward top performers with actual promotions, not just more work. Invest in leadership development.

Pros: You'll learn a lot from senior colleagues if you're proactive, especially within the financial services industry. The team managers try their best to support us. They're good at offering guidance when you directly ask for it in the Singapore office.
Cons: Upper management often seems out of touch with daily operations for roles like mine. Decisions can feel arbitrary, and there's not much transparency about company direction. It makes career growth discussions hard when you don't know the bigger picture.
Advice to Management: Try to be more transparent with your teams, especially about strategy and decision-making. Front-line managers need more authority and resources to support their direct reports effectively.
