Objective of the position

Will be responsible for transport operations for Australia and New Zealand. Will also take ownership of all transport management processes for the company's operation.

Main Task

• Manage transport operation (inbound, outbound) for bulk and packaged with different modes of transportation.
• Evaluate, monitor and improve the performance of 3rd party service providers, handle non-conformance service issues; participate and support 3rd party service provider selection.
• Optimize transportation processes based on market surveys and business feedback to meet customer and company requirements.
• Coordination and management of service provider for vehicle placement.

• Ensure transportation safely.
• Evaluate service provider performance on monthly basis in line with company's standards.

Minimum Education and Qualification:

• Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma or Supply Chain is preferred
• 2 - 6 years experience in supply chain

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Hands on experience in SAP (Order To Cash/ Transport Management) processes would be advantage
• Experience in Chemical industry is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of transportation market working of 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) service providers etc. required.
• Good understanding of the products/services of relevant business segments and functions at sub-regional level

The incumbent serves as a Transportation Assistant - Transportation Coordinator acts as primary contact to Veterans for transportation needs. The incumbent works with the Veteran Transportation Service (VTS) Supervisory Mobility Manager for transportation workload forecasting, scheduling design, procedure development, and quality improvement implementation, modification of processes, evaluation, and ongoing operational flow of the Veteran Transportation Services program.

The coordination of transportation function is multi-faceted and diverse. The three major areas of responsibility are: (1) Scheduling, Data Collection, & Tracking Support; (2) Consult Management responsibilities; (3) Program Support responsibilities. The incumbent must have knowledge of clinical services, related software, and programs as they relate to clinical computing and office automation.

Major duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs work involving consult management, appointment scheduling and admissions scheduling.
• Daily responsibilities include collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of Veteran Transportation Service (VTS).
• Performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
• Reviews documents, reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.

• As a Transportation Assistant, you will:
• Prepare, amend, and revoke transportation military orders for recruits and enlistees assigned to all Services.
• Ensure the Travel Program operates within compliance of the Inspector General (IG), Staff Assistance Visit (SAV), and Command Inspection Program (CIP) standards.
• Manage and verify shipping projections using e-Orders Shipping Register and United States Military Entrance Processing Command Integrated Resource System (USMIRS).
• Resolve issues in a professional manner on a recurring basis for unexpected transportation related matters.
• Serve as a Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) ensuring the designated government travel company adheres to travel contract requirements, reviewing production activities and analyzing support quality effectiveness.
• Perform monthly, annual, and change of transportation specialist or acting transportation officer inventory, as required, on all transportation accountable forms.
• Perform extensive coordination and transaction with service liaisons, USMEPCOM Headquarters, CI Travel, and all service DFAS.

Major Duties to include but not limited to the following:

• Determines eligibility for the program, and processing reimbursement
• Maintains communications with receiving facilities regarding beneficiaries return travel arrangements
• Reconciles vouchers against authorizations for accuracy prior to preparing certification for payments
• Prepares daily expenditure reports

• Maintains a master control of deductibles met for each month on every patient that visits this facility and authorizes or denies reimbursement accordingly

The primary purpose of this position is: an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to manage the unit Air Transportation Quality Assurance program and assist the aerial port senior ART in managing day to day activities. Additionally, provides training to reservist in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein.

DUTIES:
Duty 1 - Provides assistance to APS senior ART in directing and managing the day-to-day activities of the Aerial Port Squadron.
Duty 2 - Manages the Aerial Port's Air Transportation Standardization/Evaluation (ATSEV) & Quality Assurance (QA) program.
Duty 3 - Directs and manages all Unit Type Code (UTC) qualification requirements and command directed aerial port systems.
Duty 4 - Develops and manages the unit annual training plan and executes Unit Training Assembly (UTA) schedule.
