We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our Technical Infrastructure team, specifically focusing on Data Platform. The Senior Grid Planning & Strategy Engineer is the strategic architect responsible for aligning our BESS pipeline with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). You will translate high-level energy policy into physical infrastructure investment strategies, identifying exactly where the grid requires BESS to maintain stability. By analysing long-term demand and RE integration challenges, you will position the company as a Strategic Advisor to the TNB Grid System Operator (GSO) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

Key Responsibilities

• Policy-to-Infrastructure Translation: Analyse the NETR and Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) targets to identify the physical transmission upgrades and BESS capacities required to meet 700MW+ RE integration goals.

• BESS Dynamic Modeling: Develop site-specific BESS models including Inverters (PCS), Battery
• Management Systems (BMS), and Power Plant Controllers (PPC). You must accurately model GridForming (GFM) logic, Virtual Inertia, and sub-50ms Fast Frequency Response (FFR).
• Supplier Technical Auditing: Critically review BESS and PPC supplier proposals. You must verify if their stated ramp rates, Round Trip Efficiency (RTE), and control loop latencies are mathematically achievable and compliant with TNB requirements.

• Contribute and participate in Leasing Strategies, Business Plans, Budget and Rent Rolls setting;
