Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Manager role based in Pasay. The Kitchen Manager oversees day-to-day back-of-house operations, including supervising kitchen staff, assigning station responsibilities, and ensuring efficient workflow during service. The role involves monitoring food quality, consistency, and presentation, as well as enforcing food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times. The Kitchen Manager manages inventory, conducts regular stock checks, coordinates with suppliers, and helps control food costs and waste. This role also supports menu execution, collaborates with management on new dishes or promotions, trains kitchen team members, and ensures equipment is properly maintained and used safely.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to execute recipes consistently and at scale.
  • Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations and Food Quality standards, including food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Experience in Culinary Management, including supervising kitchen staff, scheduling, and coordinating back-of-house workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, monitor costs, and reduce waste in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Background in casual or upscale dining; experience with international or Asian cuisines is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and motivate diverse teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in Pasay with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Vocational or formal culinary education, or equivalent hands-on experience in a kitchen leadership role.
