Electrician

Decent place for an Electrician, some ups and downs
Pros: They generally try to keep you busy, which is good for experienced electricians. I've learned a lot about different residential wiring challenges here. The pay is pretty standard for onsite work in our industry.
Cons: Sometimes the project flow slows down quite a bit, so hours can get cut. This really impacts job security when things are quiet. There's not a lot of career growth available beyond lead electrician roles.
Advice to Management: Try to stabilize the project pipeline to ensure more consistent hours for your electricians. Better communication about upcoming commercial electrical installations would help everyone plan.

Decent Job Security for Electrical Techs
Pros: Job security is good here. As an Electrical Technician, there's always residential wiring or small commercial projects keeping us busy in Phoenix, AZ. It's a family-owned business, so they value long-term employees, which is nice.
Cons: Pay and benefits are just okay, definitely not top-tier for the industry. There isn't much career growth either; you sort of hit a ceiling fast. Work flexibility is low because it's all onsite work.
Advice to Management: Look into offering more competitive pay and clearer paths for advancement, especially for experienced Electrical Technicians. It would help retain talent long-term.
