Decent Flexibility, But It Varies a Lot
Pros: As a Junior Game Developer, I do appreciate the option for remote work a few days a week. The hybrid setup is pretty decent for a mid-sized studio. It gives some solid flexible hours, which is nice.
Cons: WFH can be tricky when game development deadlines hit hard. Not every project manager fully supports the advertised work flexibility. It really depends on your team if you get consistent WFH.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize work flexibility across all game development teams. It would help a lot if WFH policies were more consistent and less dependent on individual team leads.

Leadership tries, but often misses the mark
Pros: For us Game Developers, the team itself is super collaborative. Everyone's pretty solid at what they do, and there's a good effort towards WFH flexibility for this mid-sized studio. We mostly stick to agile methodology, which helps.
Cons: Leadership here can be pretty disconnected from the daily work. They don't always understand the grind for a Game Developer. Decisions often feel rushed, leading to a lot of project scope changes that impact product quality and team morale in game development.
Advice to Management: Try to engage more with individual contributors. Listen to the folks on the ground and understand the actual challenges in game development before making big calls. More consistent communication would also help.
