Pros: I really liked the remote work flexibility; it's a huge plus for work-life balance. My direct engineering leads were pretty solid, especially with complex digital advertising projects. They usually had a good grasp on the tech side for Software Engineer roles.
Cons: Upper leadership constantly shifts priorities without much warning. It's tough to get clear direction on long-term ad tech initiatives. This made it hard to feel secure or see a clear path for career growth here.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to a consistent strategy for more than a few months. Clearer communication and a more stable vision from upper management would really help employees stay focused and motivated.

Pros: I really enjoy the technical challenges, especially on our AdTech platforms. The team I work with is super collaborative. We also have a decent hybrid work model, which is nice. It makes the commute to the San Francisco office easier.
Cons: Leadership often lacks clear direction. It's tough to get solid answers on project priorities. This uncertainty makes it hard for us Software Engineers to plan effectively. Sometimes, it feels like decisions are made without understanding the engineering impact.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication and consistent vision. Empower team leads more. Really listen to the feedback from your engineering teams.
