Customer Support Specialist

Decent for remote work, but watch the hours.
Pros: Working remotely from Atlanta is super convenient for a Customer Support Specialist. I really like the WFH setup; it saves so much commute time. The team is also pretty supportive for a startup in the virtual support industry.
Cons: The work-life balance here can be tough for remote teams. Sometimes I feel like I'm always online, even after my shift. Overtime for customer service roles isn't always paid well, making it hard to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for remote teams. Encourage agents to truly log off. Maybe implement better shift rotations to prevent burnout in these virtual assistant roles.

Leadership is Okay, Needs More Clear Direction
Pros: I liked the flexibility of working remote. It's a real perk for WFH professionals in the BPO industry. My direct manager was pretty solid, always there to help out when I had questions. We had good daily stand-ups within our project team.
Cons: The bigger leadership, beyond my direct manager, felt really disconnected from global operations. Communication was often vague for large company initiatives, which made it tough for us in project management roles. There wasn't much vision sharing from senior execs, making it hard to see the overall strategy for this mid-sized company.
Advice to Management: Senior leadership at Virtual Champs Global, Inc. should work on more transparent and frequent communication with remote teams. Share the big picture vision more often. It would help us all feel more connected and understand where we're headed as a global virtual company.
