Okay for now, not much long-term growth
Pros: The WFH setup is solid, offering good work flexibility. You learn a ton about different client industries as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, which is valuable experience for your resume. The pay for this type of RPO role is pretty competitive.
Cons: Career progression is super slow; there aren't many opportunities to move up for RPO roles. It's hard to get noticed for higher-level positions when everyone is remote, and internal networking can be tough. Training for advanced skills beyond the basic recruitment workflow isn't really a focus.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clear career paths and development programs for RPO professionals. It would help with retention and motivate employees who want to grow beyond their initial role.

Leadership Can Be Hit or Miss
Pros: Some individual managers are genuinely supportive, especially within the recruitment solutions teams. They try to advocate for their people. The remote work flexibility is also solid, which helps with work-life balance.
Cons: Overall leadership from the top can feel disconnected, especially for us remote from Detroit. There's often a lack of clear strategy, and monthly all-hands meetings sometimes get cancelled last minute, making it tough to know where we're headed as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Communication about company-wide changes could be way better.
Advice to Management: Focus on consistent communication and providing clearer direction from senior leadership. We need to feel more connected to the overall vision, especially for remote teams working in the staffing industry.

Recruitment Coordinator

Okay place for contract work, security's tough
Pros: I liked being remote from Dallas, TX. The WFH setup was pretty good and offered decent work-life balance for my Recruitment Coordinator role. It's a solid global RPO company, so you get some big client exposure in contingent workforce solutions.
Cons: Job security is a real concern for staffing roles. Many of us are on contract positions, and you're always worried about client projects ending. It's tough to plan long-term here, as there's always a risk of being let go if client demand drops.
Advice to Management: Try to convert more strong performers into full-time roles, or at least offer longer contract terms to improve retention and morale. The uncertainty hurts, especially for experienced Recruitment Coordinators.
