Pros: The base pay for a Process Engineer is decent enough for the Philippines, especially if you're in the Alabang office. You get regular raises, which is fine. They do have solid HMO coverage for dependents too, which is a big plus.
Cons: The bonus structure isn't great; it feels pretty standard and sometimes tied to overall company performance which you can't really control. I've seen better benefits packages at other engineering firms, especially regarding retirement plans and more flexible allowances. It could be more competitive for our industry.
Advice to Management: Look into enhancing the overall benefits package and making the bonus system more transparent and performance-driven for individual contributors. It would really help with retention.
