Pay's Okay, Benefits Need a Boost
Pros: As an IT Recruiter, the base salary was pretty decent for the recruitment industry. I worked remotely from Dallas, TX, which was a huge plus for my schedule. Direct deposits were always on time, which is a basic but important thing.
Cons: The benefits package felt a little light, especially the health insurance options. PTO accrual was slow, so taking a proper vacation was tough. Raises weren't very substantial each year.
Advice to Management: Seriously review the benefits package, especially healthcare and PTO. Bringing them up to industry standards would make a big difference for employee retention.

Cons: Don't expect quick promotions or clear career ladders here. There isn't much investment in upskilling for existing roles. It's tough to move up, especially in the Cebu City office, unless a very specific role opens up and you're lucky.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer progression paths and offering more internal training programs. Invest in employees' long-term skills development for better retention.

Decent Work-Life Balance for Recruitment Consultant
Pros: You generally get your weekends off, which is a big plus. As a Recruitment Consultant, I usually stuck to my 9-to-6 schedule in the Manila office, so it's a predictable routine. The fixed shifts are good for personal planning.
