Client Success Manager

Leadership can be a real hit or miss
Pros: I loved the people on my direct team; they're super supportive. The WFH policy is also a big plus for work-life balance, especially for client-facing roles like mine. You do learn a lot about the healthcare IT space.
Cons: Leadership often feels disconnected from daily operations. They make decisions without much input from the ground level, which can be frustrating as a Client Success Manager trying to deliver on EHR solutions. Communication from the top down isn't always clear, especially with strategy shifts.
Advice to Management: Listen to your Client Success Managers and other frontline staff. We see the real-time impact of decisions. More transparency and involving teams in strategic planning would help a lot with execution in the healthcare IT market.

Career growth stalled in healthcare IT
Pros: The people I worked with were truly great and supportive. It's a big company focused on healthcare IT, so you feel like you're contributing to something important. Benefits are pretty solid for full-time employees too.
Cons: Career growth for Technical Account Manager roles is a big problem. There weren't clear promotion paths or real opportunities to advance. It feels very corporate and more like big tech in terms of size, but without the internal movement you'd expect.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create clearer career paths for roles like Technical Account Manager. Invest in internal mobility programs. Show employees how they can grow within the company, not just by jumping ship.

Pay is Okay, Benefits are Solid for a Big Company
Pros: As a Marketing Specialist here, the health insurance options are actually pretty decent, especially for an established healthcare tech company. I also appreciate the solid 401k match; it's a good perk and definitely a plus for an EHR platform provider.
Cons: The base salary isn't always competitive compared to other big tech roles, even for remote positions from Atlanta. Raises are often small, so don't expect huge pay bumps year over year without a promotion. It's tough to negotiate sometimes.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the salary bands for different roles, especially for experienced professionals. Competitive pay helps retain talent in this healthcare tech space.

Associate Project Manager

Okay for Work-Life, Needs Consistency
Pros: For an Associate Project Manager, the hybrid work setup is a big plus. It's nice to have some days remote from my Boston, MA home office. My direct manager usually respects boundaries, which helps in this healthcare technology space.
Cons: The workload can really fluctuate, especially during project launches. Sometimes you're doing 50+ hour weeks, which isn't great for work-life balance. There's also a pressure to be "always on" in our corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Try to normalize workloads better and set clearer expectations around off-hours communication. Project leads need more support to manage team capacity.

Culture is Fine, But It's Changing
Pros: You'll find genuinely good people here, especially on the client-facing teams. My team in Client Success Manager roles was super collaborative, which made daily tasks much easier. They're big in healthcare IT, so the mission feels important.
Cons: The culture has shifted a lot over the last year. It feels less like a tight-knit community, probably due to a mix of new leadership and the ongoing hybrid work model. There's definitely high turnover in some departments.
Advice to Management: Focus on rebuilding community and making new employees feel welcome, especially with the hybrid work setup. Address the turnover issue openly.
