Culture's Decent, But Could Use Some Fresh Air
Pros: I really liked my direct team; we had a great vibe, very collaborative as Data Analysts. The Boston office location is pretty convenient for commuting. People generally try to be helpful here.
Cons: The corporate environment can feel a bit rigid sometimes. There's not much encouragement for new ideas, especially for junior data roles. It feels like management prioritizes routine over innovation in market research.
Advice to Management: Encourage more bottom-up ideas and innovation, especially from younger employees in data roles. Update some of the older internal processes.

Pay is okay, benefits could be better
Pros: The base salary for Junior Data Analyst roles is pretty standard for the Austin tech market. We get decent health insurance, which is good. The 401k match kicks in pretty quickly too.
Cons: Bonuses are almost non-existent for entry-level positions here. The cost of living in Austin is high, so the pay doesn't stretch very far. I wish there were better perks, like a flexible spending account or more generous parental leave for a company in the business intelligence industry.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the compensation bands for all employees, especially for hybrid roles in high-cost-of-living areas like Austin. Beef up the benefits package to be more competitive; things like better tuition reimbursement or an HSA would really help with employee retention in the data analytics industry.
