Pros: You do get some flexibility with the hybrid work model, especially when not on client site. For entry-level business analyst roles, the learning curve is steep but the experience in management consulting is valuable.
Cons: Client deadlines mean long hours are common, and there's definitely pressure to deliver. The travel demands can also eat into your personal time, making it tough to plan ahead.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage client expectations on timelines to reduce crunch periods. More support for project managers to push back on unrealistic demands would really help.

Pros: I've learned a ton about client relations and project management as a Junior Consultant here. The teams are really collaborative, especially in our Chicago office, which makes the day-to-day bearable.
Cons: Leadership often feels disconnected from the ground level. We don't always get clear direction, and there's a lack of consistent feedback, especially for newer hires. It can be frustrating trying to navigate projects in this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Try to be more present and provide clearer objectives for teams. Consistent one-on-ones and constructive feedback would go a long way for employee development.
