Pros: For a Junior Software Engineer, you get exposed to a lot in software development. They do offer a decent hybrid work model with 2 days WFH, which helps some weeks. The benefits package is solid for the tech industry.
Cons: Project deadlines can be pretty intense and often lead to crunch time. It's tough to stick to 40-hour weeks when a release is coming up, even with our hybrid setup. I've definitely felt the pressure to put in extra hours.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes and set more realistic deadlines. It would really help prevent burnout for engineers.
