Pros: The direct managers in the Manila office are generally supportive, which helps a lot day-to-day. The hybrid work model is a real plus for work-life balance too. It's a solid place for career stability in financial services.
Cons: Senior leadership often feels pretty disconnected from the daily grind for us Software Engineers. There's not always clear communication from the top brass, which can be frustrating. Career progression can feel stalled without strong advocacy from management.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing middle management and ensuring consistent communication from the top down. Empower team leads more and really listen to feedback from those in the trenches in the Manila office. Invest in leadership training too.

Pros: The people are really friendly here; it's easy to get along with your team. As a Software Engineer, the hybrid work setup in the Taguig City office is a huge plus, giving good flexibility. Work-life balance is decent for a big corporate environment.
Cons: Sometimes the company culture feels a bit slow when it comes to adopting new tech or ideas. You can't always push for innovative solutions as much as you'd like in this kind of financial services setup. Things can feel a bit bureaucratic.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more bottom-up innovation and empower teams to experiment with new technologies. Make career growth paths clearer for technical individual contributors.

Pros: People here are genuinely nice and helpful in the Manila office. You feel supported, which is important for IT solutions roles. The company really pushes collaboration, which is great for team projects. Plus, the benefits are competitive for a global bank.
Cons: Innovation feels a bit slow sometimes; it's tough to get new ideas off the ground. It's a big corporate environment, so decisions can take ages to trickle down. The hybrid work model isn't always as flexible as you'd hope for, which impacts work-life balance a bit.
Advice to Management: Focus on empowering teams to innovate faster. Maybe loosen up on some of the corporate rules to encourage more creative IT solutions, especially for those in development roles.
