Okay for a start, but growth is slow
Pros: When you first start as a Software Engineer, the training is actually good. I've learned a lot about their core SaaS platform. The benefits package is pretty decent, which helps.
Cons: Career growth is definitely a challenge here. There aren't many clear paths to move up, especially for technical roles in the London office. You can feel a bit stuck after a couple of years.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for internal promotion. Invest more in growth opportunities for engineers, not just new hires. It's tough to see a future here.

Decent balance if you manage your time well
Pros: I liked that there's a hybrid model for work, so you're not stuck in the London office five days a week. You usually get your actual 40-hour weeks in if there isn't a major project crunch. They're pretty good about vacation time.
Cons: Sometimes, as a Software Engineer working on their enterprise software, project deadlines get really tight. It can lead to some late nights, especially if you're trying to hit a release target. Communication across teams isn't always the smoothest.
Advice to Management: Try to smooth out those project timelines more. Better cross-team planning would really help us avoid crunch times.

Remote but not flexible for technical roles
Pros: The actual team I worked with was solid, very collaborative. There's good exposure to modern cloud-based solutions and development practices. Being able to work remote from home was a huge draw initially for my Software Engineer role.
Cons: The work flexibility is surprisingly low, even being remote. They're pretty strict about core hours and meeting schedules, which makes it tough to adjust your day. It's not really possible to shift things around for personal appointments, which impacts work-life balance a lot.
Advice to Management: Seriously consider more true work flexibility for all technical roles. Trust your employees to manage their time and focus on output, not just strict core hours. This would really help improve morale and overall work-life balance for those working remote.
