RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review the requirement received from project team in charge and float the RFQ’s to relevant suppliers.
- Gather prices from relevant suppliers and submit them to project team for review.
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and delivery as per project requirement.
- Prepare the purchase order and submit to project team in charge for approval.
- Send the purchase order to supplier and ensure that supplier obtain the acknowledgement from supplier.
- Follow up on Material Traceability Certificates, if missing.
- Coordinate with Logistic team to arrange the collection of material once ready.
- Create relationships with the long term/reliable suppliers to ensure the best service and delivery is guaranteed.
- Explore and source new suppliers.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications.
