Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the process of chemical blending, ensuring it meets customer specifications.
• Guarantee timely chemical production and manage the blending and storage tanks to reduce stops in operation, limit waste, and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct daily quality control, which includes testing in-progress and finished products, as well as raw materials.
• Ensure continuous adherence to high safety and quality standards, and maintain the excellence of products through work order analysis.
• Perform daily instrument calibration and uphold proper lab procedures.
• Collaborate with the Production Team to make certain that Quality Control aligns with the appropriate safety standards for all products.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will use your technical expertise to support the Facilities department in maintenance and repair tasks on the interior and exterior of IKEA Tampines building.

Your assignment

• Manage and attend to requests relating to mechanical and HVAC systems in the building (e.g. fire protection system, sprinkler, air compressor, chiller checking, AHU checking, etc.)
• Perform investigation and rectification works and update the Supervisor/ Technical Officers.

The post-holder will be required to comply with relevant statutory requirements relating to the manufacture of radioactive medicinal products, including those related to Good Manufacturing Practice as defined in The Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Distributors (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency). The post-holder will be required to consign radioactive materials to external sites, in compliance with the statutory requirements applying to the transportation of radioactive materials by road. The post-holder will participate in the effective operation of the Quality Management System operated by the Radiopharmacy. This will include management of documentation, recording and investigation of non-conformances and deviations and use of the change control process. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the routine operation and maintenance of the Radiopharmacy facilities, including undertaking physical and microbiological environmental monitoring and cleaning of the facilities and equipment. The post-holder will take a supporting role in the management of specific items of equipment relevant to their role throughout its lifecycle, including maintenance of the asset register and (re)qualification of equipment, as required. The post-holder will be expected to provide advice to end users regarding manufactured radiopharmaceutical products, where required, including information related to storage conditions, shelf life, formulation and potential adverse reactions. The post-holder will be expected to provide support to other members of the Radiopharmacy team when required, to allow for flexibility in working patterns to ensure the efficient operation of the Radiopharmacy. The post-holder will be required to participate in qualification and validation activities undertaken in the Radiopharmacy, including those related to facilities, equipment, computerised systems and software, processes and starting materials.
