The Denver Sheriff Department (DSD) is seeking a Program Team Liaison to join the team to serve as a liaison between the team and external and internal stakeholders, receive referrals from outside providers, attend multi-disciplinary meetings, represent the team in meetings/events, provide case management and transition supports to people in custody, and support specific program implementation efforts.
This position is limited and is reviewed annually to identify whether the department has the funds to move the position to unlimited This position will work in both the Downtown Detention Center, located at 490 W. Colfax Ave, and County Jail, and the County Jail located at 10500 Smith Road. Consistent with City and County of Denver practice for civilian employees, all Programs Team staff are responsible for paying their own parking at the Downtown Detention Center.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position will report to the Programs Team Director and work closely with the overall team.
Specifically, the Programs Team Liaisons duties will include:
Work in coordination with the Program Managers and support Voting Registration & In-Person Voting, DMV, Social Agency programming efforts.
Work closely with Denver Health and DSD civilian staff to develop processes for moving individuals between levels of care.
Attend Denver Health and CRT meetings, multidisciplinary meetings, and community events to represent the team, triage referrals and support collaboration efforts.
Provide supports to Competency Case load that DHHA can’t support.
Support warm-hand off processes with State, County Probation, Diversion and DOC.
Manage the team's general email in-box.
Assess and case plan for, and at times provide direct case-management services and re-entry planning for people in custody.
Support the implementation of new programming in response to legislative changes.
As needed, track and manage client and team data.

Our preferred candidate would have:
Master's in associated field (social work, psychology, , criminology, sociology, human services, etc.), or a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in related work as outlined above

Essential duties for the Contract Administrator include:
Develops requests for information, applications, proposals, and qualifications (collectively RF(x)).

What You'll Do
Our group of Transportation Agents (Landside Service Agent ) are effectively the public face of the Transportation team. They work inside the main terminal at times assisting customers, patrol outside the main terminal including on the curb, and in the commercial vehicle holding lot. The scenery changes regularly as they rotate positions during their workday. We provide appropriate DEN gear to our Landside Service Agents as they primarily work outdoors in all weather conditions. Landside Service Agents provide information to the traveling public and work directly with various commercial ground transportation operators. Additionally, they monitor contract compliance for designated service providers. As a team, we work to address compliance issues, and issue citations when necessary. Landside Service Agents help to ensure the safe and efficient flow of the traveling public and access for authorized airport ground transportation operators.
Additionally, as a Landside Service Agent you can expect to:
Monitor contract compliance of commercial ground transportation operators ensuring contractual terms of service are fulfilled

We are currently seeking a Senior Civil BIM (Building Information Modeling) Project Manager to join our team. Specifically, as the Senior Civil BIM Project Manager for DEN you will:
Perform design review for all horizontal construction projects at each phase of the design cycle (30,60, 90, commissioning); ensure compliance with DEN's Design Standards Manual and FAA requirements; and provide feedback to the designer, contractor, and DEC project manager.
Serve as the focal point for any contract or consultant services in support of DEN's BIM program; establish processes to update DEN's BIM models, and related Asset Management content; ensure data is accurate and up to date; and establish safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or damage to DEN's data.
Review the Design Standards Manual annually, as required, and ensure that all necessary revisions are in place; that the standards are coordinated with all other DEC and DEN guidance; and that the information is accessible to all customers.
Attend staff meetings, project update meetings, planning groups, and all events which require expertise in DEN's BIM program as assigned by the DEN BIM Manager; and serve as DEN's focal point for any and all horizontal BIM-related questions and issues.
Consult with users and customers to evaluate horizontal project design needs, provide technical guidance on applications and services, and develop solutions to meet user needs for data and analysis; train employees and users in BIM and related concepts, data maintenance, and standard industry techniques; implement the technical operations of asset management systems used in data modeling and data distribution activities as related to facilities BIM, which includes coordinating the maintenance of data life cycles and related business processes; determine requirements and assesses alternative data models for the future design of data sets, then lead the design, testing, modification, and implementation of new data models.

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. This position is built around the core responsibilities of research, constituent services, and communications. The intern for District 4 will wear many hats and adapt to priorities and tasks as needed. This is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of City Council within the City and County of Denver through various projects, tasks, and supports needed for a growing and changing community. The intern will experience a fast-paced, professional environment specific to special projects and scheduling details for events that pertain to city council and our community residents.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide logistical support for media events, press conferences, public outreach events and various other events

The City and County of Denver, Community Corrections Department is excited to bring 2 (two) licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT) to support reentry services at our women’s and men’s residential centers. The Office of the Medical Examiner, within DDPHE, has an opening for a Forensic Assistant. This position will consist of decedent transportation and logistics while also aiding autopsy support staff with daily morgue operations.
Specifically, as the Forensic Assistant you will:
Operates a city vehicle, while responding to scene locations whose purpose is to recover and transport decedents, specimens, and or records from hospitals, nursing home, or other death scenes to the medical examiner's office or other facilities within the Denver metropolitan area in field locations that may be difficult environments.
Maintains vehicles for daily operations including the overall cleanliness of the vehicle while monitoring supplies and equipment. Complete quarterly vehicle inspection requirements.
Receives and processes decedents into the office of the medical examiner; places decedents on autopsy tables; Prepares decedents for release; And releases decedents subsequent to postmortem examination. Collects and preserves physical and medical evidence. Assist in autopsy procedures.
Assist in the physical recovery, packaging, lifting, and moving of the cedents bodies including infants, children, and decedents that may be fragmented, burned and/or or in advanced stages of decomposition.
Provides Courier service for official business including hospital specimens, histology, supplies.
Collects fingerprints for identification purposes using a variety of techniques including ink prints, digital capture, casting, and chemical processing and in accordance with departments standard operating procedures.
Performs limited scope diagnostic imaging for identification, documentation of trauma, and evidence location and collection. Selects the length and intensity of radiation exposure, and elevates images for density, contrast, definitions, magnification, and distortion.
Performs preferences photography with special focus on trauma, identifying markers, and other regions of evidential or forensic value. Collects, inventories, photographs, documents, protects, and prove reserves the integrity of evidence and personal effects via chain of custody.
Assist with decedent releases to authorized parties. Assist the coroner investigators with physical recovery and lifting of decedents while on scene investigations.
