On 12 August 1997, after a successful KLSE listing, JF Apex Securities was eventually renamed JFAS. However, on 13 December 2007, JP Morgan Hong Kong ceased its shareholding rights, thereby returning full ownership to AEHB.
In October 2000, JFAS successfully obtained the licensing rights of Halim Securities, expanding business operations and the transfer of 27 remisiers, thus the commencement of its Petaling Jaya (PJ) Branch.
