About the role
Waynum Hardware Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our team in Pasir Gudang Johor. This full-time position will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the smooth and accurate financial management of the company.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and projections
- Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
What we're looking for
- Fresh Graduate / Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting assistant role, preferably in the hardware or retail industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
