Pros: The pay for Solutions Architect roles is decent and the benefits package is solid. They offer pretty good work-life balance, especially with the hybrid work model. It's a stable company if you just want to do your job.
Cons: Career growth here is definitely a major sticking point. There aren't many clear paths for advancement, even for experienced IT professionals. Promotions seem rare, and I didn't see much internal movement in this small corporate company. It's tough to move up.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer career development plans and pathways for employees. Invest in training and opportunities for internal promotion.

Pros: I've enjoyed the hybrid work option at this mid-sized company. It's nice to have some flexibility on certain days in the Fremont, CA office. PTO is decent, and when projects aren't crunched, the day-to-day as a Software Developer is pretty chill.
Cons: But honestly, work-life balance often takes a hit, especially when we're pushing new IT solutions. Project deadlines can be insane, leading to long hours. I frequently work overtime, which isn't great for my personal life.
Advice to Management: Leadership needs to manage project scope better. Don't overload the engineering teams, especially as a growing IT solutions provider. It really impacts morale and burn out.

Pros: The team in the Fremont, CA office is generally really supportive, which is nice. I've learned a lot about hardware integration and troubleshooting different systems as an IT Support Specialist. It's a stable job, so that's a plus.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a thing here. You're mostly tied to the office, even for roles that could be hybrid. There's not much room for remote work, which can make personal appointments tricky. Expect pretty strict 9-to-5 onsite hours.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more hybrid or remote options for roles that don't absolutely require being onsite. It would really help with employee morale and modern work expectations, especially for the IT support teams.
