Flexibility Is Tough for Onsite Logistics Roles
Pros: I've found some decent work-life balance on my team here in Cincinnati, OH. You can often swap shifts with coworkers if you need to, which is a big plus. It's a huge corporate company, so job security is pretty solid.
Cons: Work flexibility is a real challenge for Logistics Coordinators in warehouse operations. Most roles are strictly onsite; remote work just isn't an option. The long hours, especially during peak shipping seasons, can really wear you down.
Advice to Management: Management should look into more flexible scheduling options, even for onsite logistics roles. It would help a lot with employee retention and morale.

Decent pay, but work-life balance can suffer
Pros: The pay is solid for a logistics coordinator role. They offer good health benefits and it's a big, stable corporate company. I learned a lot about supply chain operations.
Cons: Work-life balance here isn't great, especially with shipping deadlines. It's often hard to stick to a 40-hour week in the Atlanta hub. Taking vacation can be tricky due to staffing.
Advice to Management: Management needs to staff more appropriately to reduce overtime. They should also prioritize employee well-being over constant shipping targets to improve overall work-life balance.

Flexibility is Tough in Logistics Roles Here
Pros: For specific administrative tasks, there's occasionally a chance for a hybrid model, which is nice. You do get consistent hours, so you can plan your personal life around the fixed schedule. It's a big, stable corporate company, so job security is decent.
Cons: As a Logistics Coordinator in the Cincinnati, OH office, true work-from-home is rare; most of us are always onsite. Shift changes can happen with little notice in the distribution center, making personal planning tough. Forget about flexible start/end times if you're in operations.
Advice to Management: Try to find more opportunities for hybrid work, even for one or two days, for roles like Logistics Coordinator where some tasks can be done remotely. Better communication on shift changes would also help morale for onsite staff.
