Decent place for a big corporate gig.
Pros: The company culture is pretty solid in the Copenhagen office. People are generally friendly and collaborative, which is nice. You get to work on cool brands in the beverage industry, especially for marketing roles.
Cons: Sometimes it feels a bit slow. Being a big international company, decision-making can be really bureaucratic and takes ages. There's also a bit of an "old guard" mentality. It's hard to push new ideas if they don't fit the existing mold, which frustrates me as a Marketing Specialist.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more and streamline decision-making processes. It would really help us innovate faster and keep up with market changes.

Decent place for stability, not fast growth
Pros: Job security is pretty good here, it's a stable corporate environment. They do offer some solid internal training programs. You get a lot of exposure to the global beverage industry.
Cons: Career growth is definitely slow, especially in the Copenhagen office. It's hard to move up the ladder for marketing roles unless someone leaves. Lateral moves are more common than promotions in this big FMCG company.
Advice to Management: Please create clearer career paths and more opportunities for internal promotion. It's frustrating when you feel stuck in a role for years.

Leadership is okay, but often feels distant
Pros: Direct managers are usually supportive. There's good stability in the Copenhagen office leadership. For a large corporate, you do get some solid development opportunities.
Cons: Senior leadership in this multi-national beverage industry giant can feel really disconnected. Decisions often take ages, slowing down our FMCG distribution efforts. It's tough to get new initiatives off the ground.
Advice to Management: Try to empower local teams and reduce the layers of approval. More face-time from senior leadership with sales teams would really help the FMCG distribution in key markets.

Okay Flexibility, But Room to Improve
Pros: Some teams really embraced hybrid work, which was great. As a Supply Chain Analyst, I appreciated having a few days a week to work from home when my tasks allowed. It's good for a big corporate environment in the beverage industry.
Cons: Other managers are pretty strict about onsite work, even if there's no real reason for it. Full remote isn't really an option for most roles. It felt a bit old-school sometimes regarding work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Encourage more consistent hybrid work policies across all departments. Modernize the approach to work arrangements; it would really help with employee morale and attraction, especially for specialized roles.

Leadership at Carlsberg has its moments.
Pros: Some managers really care. They offer good support for individual growth, especially for junior supply chain roles in the brewing industry. You feel heard on project work.
Cons: Leadership can be inconsistent across this large corporate setup. There's a lot of red tape, making quick decisions tough as a Supply Chain Analyst. Communication for our hybrid model isn't always clear.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication from senior leadership down. Empower middle management more to cut through the bureaucracy, especially for teams working under a hybrid model.

Job Security is Okay, But Watch Out
Pros: Being part of a big, established corporate company like Carlsberg Group does have its perks. There's a decent global footprint, so the company itself feels stable. You often get solid benefits, which is a plus.
Cons: Honestly, job security felt a bit shaky, especially after some reorgs. It's not uncommon for supply chain roles to be impacted by cost-cutting, and I saw colleagues leave. For a large FMCG company, it could be better.
Advice to Management: Focus on clear communication during restructuring. It's tough when people don't know where they stand. Invest more in internal mobility for corporate roles.

Carlsberg: Decent security, some internal changes
Pros: As a Supply Chain Specialist here, I've felt pretty secure. The company is a huge player in the global beverage industry, so it's not going anywhere soon. It's a stable corporate environment overall.
Cons: Reorganizations pop up every few years, which can make you a bit nervous. Some departments get hit harder than others when they're trying to cut costs. It's not totally stress-free here.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about strategic shifts. It helps calm nerves during uncertain times and improves employee morale.

Solid culture, but sometimes a bit slow
Pros: I liked the team environment; everyone's pretty supportive, especially for new hires in marketing roles. There's a strong sense of pride in the brand, which is cool in the beverage industry.
Cons: Things can move really slowly, which is tough when you're trying to push new brand strategy ideas. Sometimes it feels like decisions get stuck in too many layers, typical for a large corporate setting.
Advice to Management: Try to speed up decision-making processes. Empower teams more to innovate without so much red tape.

Pay is okay, benefits could be better.
Pros: The base salary for a Junior Marketing Specialist in the Copenhagen office is solid. I also appreciated the pension scheme; it's pretty standard for a global company like this. You get good healthcare coverage too.
Cons: I think the annual bonuses aren't very generous. Raises felt small year-over-year. Other companies in the FMCG sector offer better perks or stock options.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the annual bonus structure and expanding benefits for mid-level marketing roles to stay competitive.

Okay place for a steady career, not fast growth
Pros: It's a big, global company so there's good job security. You learn a lot about the beverage industry and FMCG. As a Junior Brand Manager, you get exposure to large campaigns and budgets.
Cons: Career growth isn't always clear or quick here. Promotions can take a long time, especially for marketing roles. There isn't much room to move up fast, which is frustrating.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for career progression. Invest more in development programs to keep ambitious employees engaged and help them grow within the company.
