Pros: The best part is definitely the work flexibility. Being able to work remotely as a Controller has been invaluable for my personal life. My team is great; we collaborate well and support each other, making the day-to-day operations smoother. There are opportunities to learn new processes within financial management.
Cons: While flexibility is great, the path for career growth within CLM Controller feels a bit stagnant. Promotions don't happen often, and it's hard to see a clear progression route. Workload can also spike unexpectedly during reporting periods, making work-life balance challenging at times, despite the general flexibility.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer career progression paths and better managing workload spikes during peak financial periods to improve retention and satisfaction among finance professionals.
