The scope of this role comprises the South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia), where responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the multi-country payroll processing and related statutory reporting, in compliance to legal, tax and regulatory requirements in a timely manner.
- Manage third-party payroll vendors as needed (for selected region).
- Perform financial closing for payroll related transactions.
- Prepare and post payroll related journal entries.
- Prepare monthly payroll related GL account analysis and clear open items.
- Handle expatriates tax compliance.
- Perform a standard set of internal control procedures for the regions’ payroll processes.
- Process employees’ claims reimbursements per company policy.
- Collect and provide requested information for tax, internal, corporate, labor ministry & local authorities’ audits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
